If you're seeing this on a free streaming site, keep in mind that these types of websites are notorious for serving malware and opening pop-ups and "pop-unders" along with free TV and movie programming. These ads can be very difficult to block. AdBlock (like other ad blockers) is not an anti-malware program.

I got a pop up in Chrome on a tab labeled Microsoft Official Support saying they've detected an unknown system failure related to a virus and/or spyware that will give outsiders my passwords. It's telling me to call 888-653-0258 and they will walk me through removing the problem.

Please help. Ive had a virus removal alert pop up on my surface2. To me it looks malicious. It wants me to download & install 'setup.exe.vbe' file from '26b431kj.avsystemprotect.nl'. The alert popup doesnt look realistic. Its more of a jpeg than an actual box. Here's the web address for this popup:
